Dear UAWC Employees,
The UAWC is understaffed so others and myself are working to make the Writing
Center more efficient for the staff and clients. To fix this problem, I am working toward creating a marshmallow launcher to provide snacks for clients and consultants. I got involved in this project by getting hired as a General Service and Support worker, which is a freelance research company for UA-related entities. In the past, workers have created launchers for the UA Writing Center but each year they are looking for something better.
To solve this problem, I am going to create a launcher that is easy to use and accessible to all. The benefits of using my launcher is that it’s easy to use and time sufficient. After researching multiple marshmallow launchers, I realized that looks are not as important as how well it works. I looked up the statistics of several models and how quickly they can shoot marshmallows and created a model that is similar to the one’s that shot the marshmallows the farthest and quickest.
I am strong-minded and competitive worker, which makes me a good candidate to get the job done. I am a creative thinker and have used my skills to create academic and personal projects in the past. Creating something intricate is something I actually enjoy and feel satisfied when my creation can be used for something good. If my design is selected, I will build the finished launchers.
The launcher cost $4 to make. My plan is to tell my launcher to the UA Writing Center for no more than $10. If the UA Writing Center chooses my design, I can create ten launchers in a week.
If the UAWC buys my design, it will dedicate an entire week to creating and perfecting my design. The longest process would be decorating each box to produce ten models identical to my first design.
My design is not only creative but also it appealing to the Writing Center and advertises for them. . To create an even better model, I could try to find a much larger spoon and more elastic rubber bands so the marshmallows can shoot further.

I ask the UA Writing Center to please keep my model in mind when choosing a launcher to deliver snacks. My price is great, I can work quickly and it has a great overall rhetorical appeal.
